Skateboarding & Cycling in Pedestrian Areas

Skateboarding is an activity enjoyed responsibly by many young people. However, some young people skateboard in places where there is a danger to others eg, in pedestrian shopping areas. In these cases byelaws exist to prevent irresponsible behaviour in a public place causing a danger to others. The police will stop and caution anyone who puts residents, shoppers and passers-by at risk.
