Anti-Social Behaviour Team

Dacorum Borough Council’s Housing Service has an anti-social behaviour team working to improve behaviour in and around its estates.

Anti-social behaviour has been described as “anything which interferes with the peaceful enjoyment of the home and surrounding area.” The Council works with organisations like social services, the anti-addiction charity Druglink and the police to find ways of changing or stopping patterns of bad behaviour on or near its estates.

When faced with repeated bad behaviour, the Council will use the law to enforce tenancy conditions. This could mean evicting those responsible, whether they are tenants themselves or simply living with a Council tenant. Civil law injunctions might also be used to protect and prevent further problems.

For more information on the Borough Council’s anti-social behaviour team email julie.still@dacorum.gov.uk or telephone her on 01442 228453.
