How We Are Reducing & Preventing Burglary
There are 56,943 homes in the whole of Dacorum.
The chances of having your home burgled is lower in the Borough
than in many parts of Hertfordshire, and much lower than the UK
average.
Figures from Hertfordshire Constabulary show that
in the course of one year for every 1,000 houses in the Borough,
six will be burgled. The police are not complacent and have ambitious
targets.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has an Action
Plan to cut burglaries
by almost one quarter by working closely on detection and crime
prevention campaigns with partners in health, youth offending,
Neighbourhood Watch and the Borough Council.
