What is the Citizen’s Panel?
1,046 residents in Dacorum are members of the Citizen’s
Panel. The Panel is a sample of the 139,000 people who live in
Dacorum selected very carefully to be representative of the Borough
in terms of gender and age.
Some Panel members have also been asked to attend
discussion groups on topics like refuse collection, anti-social
parking and the creation of wildflower meadows.
Dacorum Borough Council is committed to reviewing
and improving services to make sure we are providing the services
needed by local people. The feedback we receive from the
Citizens Panel is central to getting this right.
The Panel consists of over one thousand Dacorum
residents, and is representative of the profile of the Borough
in terms of gender, age, ethnic origin and geographic location.
We are especially interested to hear from young adults between
the ages of 18 and 24 years of age who would like to join the
Citizen’s Panel.
Panel members are asked to complete around four
surveys a year on a wide variety of topics, for example, parks
and open spaces, refuse and recycling, services for the elderly,
sports facilities or the Council's budget.
If you are a resident
of Dacorum , you can complete
our online questionnaire to join the Citizens' Panel .
If you would like more information on what being
a Panel member entails, please look at the Questions
and Answers section.
