APPEAL: ROBBERY IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD
POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses
to an attempted robbery on Cotterells, Hemel Hempstead
this weekend.
At around 5.45pm on Saturday, July 3, the offender

offender made off in the opposite direction. The girl

The offender is described as a white man in his 30s.
He has blue eyes, pale white skin, and wavy/messy
collar length blonde hair. He is around 6ft 2in tall
and well built. He was wearing a plain blue t-shirt
with a collar and plain blue baggy jeans.
Detective Constable Clare Brumham, investigating,
said: “The girl is naturally shaken and we are urging
anyone who may have been a witness to this offence
to call police.
“The incident happened very close to Leighton Buzzard
Road so it's likely that people travelling in their
cars or walking along the road may have seen a man
matching this description. If you were in the area
around the time and remember seeing this man we would
urge you to get in touch. It may be you saw him in
the area before the incident or even running away
afterwards.”
