VANDALISM ON CARS IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD

POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after cars have had tyres slashed in the western area of Hemel Hempstead.

The ten incidents happened overnight between Friday November 27 and Saturday November 28. Cars were parked on Sunnyhill Road, Astley Road, Spring Road and Galley Hill.

PC Gemma Beard, investigating from Hemel Hempstead Neighbourhood Team, said: “These incidents are a spate of mindless vandalism which has left hundreds of pounds worth of damage to vehicles.

“We treat incidents of this kind very seriously. As part of our enquiries, I am appealing for anyone who might have any information or have seen anything in relation to these crimes, no matter how small, to come forward.”

Anyone with any information on this crime should ring PC Beard via the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers (an independent charity) anonymously on 0800 555111.
