MAN CHARGED WITH DISTRACTION BURGLARY


POLICE have arrested and charged a man in connection with a distraction burglary which took place in Hemel Hempstead in October.

Patrick Conner, 55, of Bullwell High Road in Nottinghamshire, was arrested on Tuesday (March 2) and has been charged with distraction burglary in connection with an incident which took place in the Counter's End area on 17 October 2009.

He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Thursday (March 4) and was remanded into custody. He is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on 10 March 2010.
