DETECTIVES RELEASE E-FIT OF MAN THEY WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO IN RELATION TO AN INCIDENT – HEMEL

DETECTIVES RELEASE E-FIT OF MAN THEY WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO IN RELATION TO AN INCIDENT – HEMELDETECTIVES in Hemel Hempstead have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an incident which occurred at Hemel Hempstead train station on October 25th.

The incident happened shortly after 11 am.

The victim, a 50-year-old man from Mill Hill, had arranged to meet two men at the train station to give them money as a deposit for a rental property.

Two men allegedly met the victim at Hemel Hemsptead train station and all three travelled towards Hemel town centre in a silver Mercedes.

The car is then believed to have stopped in a lay-by on Station Road just before the canal bridge and the men then asked for the money before hitting the victim and taking his cash.

Both men are described as being very smartly dressed.

Detectives are keen to speak with the man pictured who is described as being around 35-years-old and 5ft 8ins tall.

Detective Sergeant Marc Willmore, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are keen to speak with this man as we believe he may have vital information which could help our investigation.

“I would urge this man to contact us or anyone who may know who this man is to get in touch with police immediately.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Willmore on 0845 33 00222, or alternatively through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
