HAVE YOU HAD YOUR BIKE STOLEN FROM THE APSLEY AREA OF HEMEL HEMPSTEAD?

POLICE are trying to find the owner of a bike they believe to have been stolen from the Apsley area of Hemel Hempstead so they can return it to its owner.

It is a silver and black mountain bike. The make is Carrera and officers believe it was stolen during January.

However, there is no crime log for it, so police think the owner may just have not reported the theft.

Detective Constable Colin Cantellow said: “I am keen to trace the owner so I can return their bike to them.

“But I am also hoping that the owner of the bike can shed some light on where the bike might have been stolen from and the circumstances around that.”

Anyone with any information on this crime should ring DC Cantellow via the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers (an independent charity) anonymously on 0800 555111.
